It was an evening journey that started at 5.30 PM from Chennai Central. Shatabdi, being a premium seated AC chair coach, the travel was supposed to be peaceful and comfortable. This is my first train journey in India after 5 years, and I was very much looking forward to it. Luckily, I got an aisle seat in a 3-seater row — I usually prefer aisle seats in longer travels, which gives me the flexibility to step out and walk whenever needed without disturbing anyone seated in the adjacent seats.
