The Hakurei turnip is a small, creamy, white-fleshed turnip that looks more like a radish than its larger kin. They can be eaten raw, braised, or pickled.
Just a simple platter of sashimi for a couple people. Made mine into a bowl whereas my wife likes to make little hand rolls. Not listed: leftovers of pickled cabbage, pickled okra, and sautéed mushrooms.
