Amazon is searching for more unsuspecting do-gooders after renewing comedy Jury Duty for a third season. This comes after the show just streamed its second season earlier this year with Anthony Norman joining Ronald Gladden as an unsuspecting member of the public who was secretly filmed in the prank comedy series. Amazon’s Global Head of TV Peter Friedlander revealed the news on stage at its Upfronts presentation. Obviously, he didn’t give anything away in terms of where it would be set – that would give away the secret. Deadline understands that conversations about a third season began around the start of the year but that the renewal was made yesterday. It’s not clear whether the creative team from seasons one and two will return and we hear that a scenario has also not been completely set on. The show was co-created by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, who exec produced the first two seasons with a group that included David Bernad, who also exec produces The White Lotus.…
