I'm autistic and I just can't work with a flawed todolist or with flawed systems in general. If I work with a flawed system, the following happens: 1. I'm working with it 2. I can't unsee the flaw of the system 3. I inevitably start thinking about how to get rid of the flaw or I just freeze. 4. I get nothing else done. Flexible rules: if theyre good, the rule can always be followed with no exceptions. That removes doubt when working with any system. Example: "after midnight, I should go to bed ASAP" Inflexible rules: No. I don't much like this much. They will inevitably be broken anyway. Example: "I should be in bed by 1AM!!" So I try to make my todolist system in a way that allows for flexibility. My current system is this: A new task information appears. If its not important then I let it be. If its important + very little tiny + I'm not in a rush, I do it now. If its important but I can't or shouldn't do it right now, see point 2 I plan a task.…
