So, what's my final verdict? It was really nice to spend quality time with the family and not have to think about activities, meals, and cleaning — aka all the parent stuff. Everything was right on the ship. And yes, I'll have to start saving up for the next cruise but to keep costs down I'd definitely consider a lower deck stateroom and I'd budget for the things that I know my family would enjoy. The base costs includes the shows, character experiences, pools, food, beach, Disney's Oceaneer Club, and more, which was enough for us! (TBH, Disney's Oceaneer Club is a really big selling point if you have kids over three and over.)
