Volkswagen is intensifying its efforts to regain momentum in China by leveraging its youth-oriented sub-brand, Jetta. Unveiled on April 21 ahead of the Beijing Auto Show, the Concept X prototype represents a pivotal shift for the brand. This electric SUV is central to Jetta’s medium-term strategy to achieve annual sales of 400,000 to 500,000 units. Rebranding for a Digital Era In the Chinese market, Jetta functions as a dedicated entry-level brand managed by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture.
