TLDR: I have no idea how to use my pressure cooker and following video instructions are failing me. I live in Tokyo and like making things like refried beans or chili and have always used canned (where I'm from a can of beans was always dirt cheap), but a single can of black or pinto beans here is roughly $6. -short version- I got dried beans as they are cheap. I have a pressure cooker (but am still not 100% sure how to use it). I have been attempting to pressure cook both dry and soaked beans, but for whatever reason a ton of my beans split, or with a long cook turn to mush. I don't assume to know what I'm doing at all, but any secrets? I watched videos, but those are less interactive than reddit. As a beginner am I better soaking and trying to cook on high in my crockpot for a few hours, or any dips on utilizing my pressure cooker?
