From the moment most people wake up, the noise already begins. Notifications. Messages. Videos. News. Endless scrolling. Before the day even starts properly, the brain is already full. And somehow this has become normal. People rarely sit in silence anymore. The second things become quiet, someone reaches for their phone without even thinking about it. I do it too sometimes. Not because there is something important to check. Just because being alone with your thoughts has started to feel uncomfortable. I think modern life has trained our brains to expect constant stimulation. There is always something happening. Something updating. Something demanding attention every few seconds.
