I currently finished Ironman 70.3 in Oceanside! Training went well, except the end where I got fatigued calves but succeeded to recover enough to finish the 70.3 in 8hours!
Now it’s been 4 weeks, I’m progressively going back into training, I do alfredson exercise protocol once a day, yesterday I did a run (20 min), I had to stop because my right calves (never got an issue with that one) gave me cramps signal! I wonder how I should manage strength training and run/bike workouts, without adding big loads at once! Any advice?
