On May 11, the coffee chain will launch scheduled ordering nationwide, allowing customers to plan pickups up to an hour ahead. To schedule an order, customers can choose a specific time for pickup in the “review order” section of the Starbucks app, and can select any time up to an hour in the future. “It’s perfect for moments that require a bit more planning, so you can schedule ahead around meetings, classes or busy days,” the company said in a press release. Starbucks noted that the five-minute windows offered on the app will reflect real-time availability at each location.
