Himachal Pradesh High Court news: The Himachal Pradesh High Court recently upheld residence and maintenance orders against a retired Army man, observing that a husband living with another woman remained “duty-bound to provide residence” to his wife. Justice Rakesh Kainthla was hearing a revision plea filed by the husband, a retired Naib Subedar, challenging the September 2016 appellate court judgment affirming the trial court’s order granting residence rights and a total maintenance of Rs 3,000 per month to the wife.
