I’ve realized that my biggest struggle with weight loss isn’t knowledge—it’s structure and accountability. I know what foods are healthier. I know I should stay active. I know what I need to do. The problem is actually doing it consistently when life gets busy, motivation drops, or I stop paying attention. For me, weight loss isn’t a lack of information problem. It’s a behavior and execution problem. When I have structure—clear goals, routines, reminders, meal planning, tracking, and some form of accountability—I do well. When that structure disappears, I slowly drift back into old habits without even realizing it. I think a lot of people underestimate how difficult it is to stay consistent for months or years.
