At least 14 people have died after consuming spurious liquor in Pune in the last three days. Several others, who too are suspected to have consumed the same liquor, are undergoing treatment at different hospitals, the police said. The state government has ordered a probe by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). The death toll is likely to increase, police said. Three officers of Hadapsar police station were suspended by  Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar. Among the deceased, ten were residents of Phugewadi-Dapodi areas of Pimpri-Chinchwad under Pune district.
