‘Next generation’ Southern Highlands home hits market at $7.35M

This “next generation” Southern Highlands home is zero-energy ready. The home at 73 Olympia Canyon Way was listed on April 14 for $7.35 million. The residence, which was built this year, is so energy efficient that a renewable energy system such as solar panels could offset most or all of the home’s energy use, according to the listing. Located south of Las Vegas, the home “shocked” listing agent Ivan Sher of IS Luxury. “My associate Brian, we walked through the home and we looked at each other and said “‘this home is exceptional,’” said Sher. “You don’t typically find this style in Southern Highlands.” According to Sher, Southern Highlands is known for more Italian, Mediterranean and Tuscan-style homes, while the property at Olympia Canyon flips that on its head. The modern, one-story estate sits on over a half-acre, spanning 6,744 square feet, with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and four-plus car grand motor court.…
