I've started building what is effectively a client acquisition agency, but I'm turned off by bro Marketers on Reels. Here's what I'd like to do differently. I've been building what is effectively a paid lead gen agency and I've been on Reels checking out other ads. It turns out that they're all the same. Bro in his 20s or 30s talking in a neon lit studio into a podcast microphone. I'm naturally a contrarian, so when I see that I instantly want to do the opposite. Even though I know its likely a proven framework. I just don't see it as sustainable for brand building. So, I'm considering taking an entirely different approach to the brand awareness/lead gen side of my agency. 1. Be more experimental and 'abstract' with my videos. Higher intent audiences, but slower consumption. These would include ideas that use subliminal messages (of the brand), but have clear minimal on screen text of who I am, what it is, and the value. 2.…
