I have a really big appetite so I always struggled staying in a caloric deficit. Lately I’ve tried this new strategy where I don’t eat all day in order to save all of my calorie budget for one big meal around the end of the day. I know it’s unhealthy, but this meal is usually fast food, so I get to eat the foods that I love while maintaining a caloric deficit. The only real struggle is protein as some fast food don’t have enough, but then I usually manage to get enough by supplementing with a protein shake and a slightly smaller meal. This really feels too good to be true, I don’t even feel like I’m dieting yet I’ve lost 6 kg this past month while also gaining strength. Is there a catch I’m missing, or have I just found a strategy that suits me really well? submitted by /u/Anxious_Ad9786 [link] [comments]
