About 8 years ago I went from 260/270 to 175, and managed to stay there for about 7.75 years. After hitting target, I held on to the things that helped me lose the weight, but over time they began to feel unnecessary, so I slowly stopped. One thing I never gave up was the daily weigh in. I was comfortable with my fluctuations, I would bounce between 170 and 182, but it was cyclical and not a concern to me. A few months ago, though I began to notice that the cycle was only going one way. But hey, no big deal. I'm older now, maybe 180 isn't too bad. But then I used the same logic when that number became 185. Last week I noted that I had been above 190 for at least a week. 190 was my original goal weight back on 2018. Shit had to change. I wore a health tracker religiously for a long time. When it was time for a new one a couple of years ago, I made a bad decision with the one I chose to "upgrade" to.…
