I have a package of spaghetti. It says that 175 g of cooked spaghetti has 300 calories. It also has a note saying that 75 g of dry spaghetti will weigh approx 175 g when cooked. Ok so I got it. 75 g of dry spaghetti = 175 g cooked = 300 cals. But what if I don’t want 75 g? What if I want to use 50 or 60 g dry? How the frick do I figure out how much that’ll weigh cooked and how it’ll translate into calories? I feel so dumb so I just keep using 75 g as my serving size but sometimes I’m not that hungry lol submitted by /u/BiancoLatte89 [link] [comments]
