We’re remodeling the 2nd floor bathroom of our 1920s home, and just tore the tub out. The tile is laid on a thick mortar bed, which was poured on a few inches of concrete. So close to 4 inches total. This bathroom is on a 2nd floor. Jackhammer?? Hot saw? Those both seem risky in a 2nd floor bathroom. And a hot saw would make a terrible mess. Suggestions?
