I love food, but god, it gets annoying having to eat every day ?? Like, it's so expensive to feed yourself multiple times in any given 24-hour period, but we don't really have a choice. So, what are our best options to keep ourselves healthy and fed without stressing our piggy banks out too much? 1. "My mother volunteers at a local university's farm, where they plant different vegetables and try different organic methods. She goes with a friend once or twice a week to pull weeds. The university sells all its produce on weekends, but whatever is left over is given to volunteers to take home. She hasn't had to buy produce (that can be locally grown) for years!" 2.
