Himachal Pradesh High Court quashed the FIR lodged against the Army personnel under IPC Section 376 after the survivor said she wanted to move on with life and avoid further trauma.
The appellant had lost his government employment, was surviving on a meagre income from tuition, and was facing financial hardship, the Delhi High Court was informed.
