Nobel Peace laureate and activist Narges Mohammadi has been transferred to a Tehran hospital more than a week after collapsing in prison, her foundation said Sunday.

Activist’s latest arrest was in December and she has recently had two suspected heart attacks in prison

The Peace Prize laureate was placed in a cardiac care unit after being brought to the hospital from prison.

Her family said the 54-year-old had been taken from prison to a local hospital after a sharp deterioration in her health.

The hospital transfer comes “after 140 days of systematic medical neglect,” since her arrest on Dec. 12, the foundation said.
