I currently work as a **Staff Accountant** in the Metro Detroit area (Michigan) and I’m feeling like my current pay doesn’t match my responsibilities. **My Background & Skills:** • **Education:** Bachelor’s in Accounting from an international university outside the US . Currently evaluating my credits to sit for the CPA exam in Michigan. • **Experience:** 2 years in Individual Taxes (1040) + currently learning Business Tax (1120-S, 1065). • **Software:** Proficient in QuickBooks, Drake Tax, and Excel. **Current Workload:** • Manage full-cycle **Payroll for 4 companies** (200+ employees total). • Handle all payroll tax filings, compliance (W-4, I-9), and reporting. • Full-charge **Bookkeeping** for these 4 entities, including monthly financial reports. • Direct communication with clients and answering all their financial/tax questions.…
