15s threshold

I’ve been experimenting with an intelligent volume‑regulation logic for TV and streaming. It’s not a compressor or limiter — it behaves more like a human with a remote. Here’s the core idea: 1. Dynamic Baseline The system continuously learns the “normal” loudness level of the content. Short anomalies don’t affect it. 2. ±3 dB Tolerance Window If the signal stays within ±3 dB of the baseline, no correction is made. This preserves natural dynamics. 3. Intelligent Delay (1.2 s) At least 1.2 seconds must pass before any correction. Prevents command‑spamming and nervous volume jumps. 4. Impulse Protection Sudden peaks (explosions, transitions, effects) are detected and ignored for a short time. 5. RETURN Priority If the device itself is returning from a loud segment (ads, transitions), the logic waits and doesn’t interfere. 6. HARD LIMIT Safety Layer If too many corrections happen too fast, the system enters a protective mode. 7. Output Only single steps: VOL_UP, VOL_DOWN, or no action.…
