PARIS – Marc Chaya, president and chief executive officer of Maison Francis Kurkdjian , is leaving the niche fragrance brand that he co-founded and built into a powerhouse. Chaya, whose last day in the roles is today, will continue supporting the brand’s owner LVMH Moét Hennessy Louis Vuitton, serving as a strategic advisor to its perfumes and cosmetics division, alongside the division’s CEO Véronique Courtois, while focusing on other personal projects. Courtois is to serve as Maison Francis Kurkdjian ’s interim president with the support of Stéphane Augé, international managing director, until Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s future organization structure takes shape. Meanwhile, Kurkdjian remains creative director of the house.
