Every time this track plays on modern rock radio (which is still somehow quite often) I’m taken aback at what a great drum performance it is. The groove up top is super tight right out of the gate, but as it progresses through the later choruses and musical breaks it gets surprisingly chopsy and way further out than 99% of commercial rock music. It’s nothing that’s going to wow the Vinnie or Weckl fans out there, but Mike Cosgrove deserves serious props for what he threw down on there. submitted by /u/drumsareloud [link] [comments]
