I’m pretty terrified of ticks and tick-borne illnesses, but I’m considering skipping the permethrin moving forward and just relying on a nightly tick check and staying on the trail. I’m not judging anyone and in fact I’m still deciding for myself, but I just feel weird about going into nature and killing any bug that lands on me. Does anyone have experience relying on tick checks exclusively? I figure you have to do them anyways so there oughta be ways to make them as effective as possible. submitted by /u/XIFOD1M [link] [comments]
