There couldn’t be a better script written for Plainedge right-hander Jaxson Torres, who recently threw back-to-back no-hitters during the Red Devils’ undefeated 20-0 campaign.  “I was definitely hoping for one this year,” Torres, a junior being looked at by colleges, told The Post.  He recently threw consecutive no-nos against Locust Valley and Wantagh at the end of April. Courtesy of Jaxson Torres The latter was especially sweet for the fall-time quarterback whose team lost to Wantagh on the gridiron in the 2024 Nassau championship. “I’ve always held the grudge for them,” Torres said with a laugh. “I hate losing, I’m a competitive person, so I always keep that at the back of my mind to just dominate on the mound.” The moments were exciting, but nothing new for the 17-year-old, as he threw a no-hitter last season in the playoffs against Seaford.
