The multiplatform strategy is (for the most part) a failure and they cant continue down this road I dont know if this is going to be controversial or not, but the whole "project latitude" thing hasnt worked out at all outside of a couple of live service games. Outside of these two titles, it failed at everything it sets out to do The whole point was to get a quick and easy rise in numbers. It instead didnt change anything at best, and the numbers got down even more. Microsoft sacrificed their platform to catch a short term vision and they failed even at that. Its like if i got financial problems, so i burn down my house to get the insurance money... But it gets denied. Now im as broke as before, but without an house. That's the Xbox multiplatform strategy: the numbers went down anyway and they also almost killed their own console.
