XChat, the standalone messaging app from X, is now available. X’s new iPhone and iPad app has officially arrived on the App Store. XChat has officially launched on iPhone and iPad As of Friday, April 24th, the XChat app has officially launched. Unlike the official X app, XChat is a little more at home with iOS 26 design. It even uses the iOS 26 keyboard. The X app still uses the iOS 18 version of the keyboard. Today we’re launching XChat, a standalone app for all your conversations on 𝕏.
