Although protocol when boarding a flight is that families with small children are among the first to get on, one former flight attendant is sparking quite the online debate after saying it should be the other way around. Dealing with kids at a crowded airport and then sitting on a plane waiting for takeoff is not for the weak. In a viral TikTok video with over 2 million views, Florida-based ex-flight attendant, Laura, shared her thoughts, writing in the caption, “Okay don’t come for me but I think families with babies should board LAST… “ After sharing her own frustrating experience boarding with her young son, she wrote that she “spent years watching families board first and slowly unravel before we even closed the door.” To combat the parent-child anxiety combo waiting for the rest of the flight, Laura suggests to “Board last.
