Netflix is expanding its relationship with the NFL , adding three regular-season games to its existing Christmas Day double-header. The company’s chief content officer, Bela Bajaria, announced the moves, which are part of a four-year extension with the league through 2029-30, at the company’s annual upfront presentation in New York. The streaming giant said it will carry an LA Rams-San Francisco 49ers game from Australia on September 10, on the first weekend of the season. It will be the league’s first game played Down Under, amid an aggressive international push that has put games in Mexico, Brazil, Germany and the UK in recent years. On Wednesday, November 25 (the night before Thanksgiving Day, an annual blitz for the NFL), Netflix will have exclusive rights to a Green Bay Packers game against the LA Rams at SoFi Stadium.
