I did a Half last year for the first time (along with a.sprint and olympic distance in lead up) which was great, had fun in the lead up to it and the event.
My training cooled off over the winter so decided to sign up for another one this coming June, but after some injuries and illnesses after Christmas, my training plan started off pretty rocky. I've struggled to get back into a routine and now I'm 8 weeks out and feeling under prepared for it. I've adapted an 8 week plan and trying to commit harder, but finding things such more difficult this time round. I'm not quick, just want to get through again in one piece.
Did anyone else experience this or have any advice?
