How does the bacteria in every probiotic drink reach or even survive till they reach the intestines if they have to pass through the stomach which contains stomach acid (hydrochloric acid) that can dissolve metal and possibly kill every microbes. This question/ thought still bothers me everytime I drink one. (e.g. yakult, yogurt, etc) I still don't know or understand how they do it, I mean if stomach acid can dissolve almost everything like bones, metal, etc and please don't be mean to me, I'm in 8th grade and I like to study especially the human anatomy.
