My husband and I desperately need a budget. Where do we start?! Currently, we bring in $5500-$6000 a month and it feels like we are living paycheck to paycheck. We rarely have any money left over to put into savings. I would to have different savings for general and vacations… Mortgage: $1600 Car payments: $420 (we pay car insurance every January in full: $3500) Son’s Speech Therapy/ Swim/ HipHop class: $500 Groceries: $600 Gas: $250-$300 Utilities: $600-700 Student loan: $400 No credit card debt. ***ETA: Utilities include streaming services- thought I’d just lump them all together. Eating out: $150 Extra curricular: $200 Cell phone: $100 submitted by /u/NoMiddle9295 [link] [comments]
