Dear Care and Feeding, My wife recently imposed a punishment on our 14-year-old son, “Jordan,” for a harmless teenage transgression that I think went too far. Jordan had a telescope. Last week, my wife caught him using it to spy on a female neighbor as she undressed in her bedroom, and she smashed it in response. I really don’t think what my son did was so out of bounds as to warrant such an extreme reaction. Doesn’t my wife owe him a new telescope and an apology? —Telescope Trouble Dear Trouble, We get occasional troll emails, as you may know, and part of me hopes that this is one of them.
