15s threshold

I’m currently in the UK and preparing to move to Canada through Express Entry. One of the biggest requirements I’m working through is French (for certification exams like TEF/TCF). I’m trying to improve quickly enough to be exam-ready, but I’m noticing something: most language apps feel great for basics, but not very aligned with actually passing a structured exam or building usable confidence under test conditions. For anyone who learned a language before emigrating (especially for Canada or similar pathways): What actually helped you make real progress toward passing the exam? And what didn’t work as well as you expected (apps, courses, study methods, routines, etc.)? I’m especially interested in what helped you move from “learning content” to actually performing well in speaking, listening, reading, and writing under exam pressure. submitted by /u/Special_Dish_6460 [link] [comments]
