I have fixed my Meross MSG100 connectivity issue! I had been complaining on my MSG100 connectivity issue in that when HA issues a command to Open or Close, most of the time it fails. I was so frustrated with this issue. When I did a continuous ping to the MSG100, the ping was okay and did not have intermitent no response. However, I did NOT pay attention to the response time! It was high as 300's milliseconds and some 20 or 50 milliseconds. Note that I mounted the MSG100 using the provided 2-sided tape to the galvanized steel bracket holding the Garage Door Opener motor/assembly. It dawned on me lately that the MSG100 may not be getting WiFi interference from the metal bracket system designed to hold the GDO. So, here's what I did the other day: I pried out the MSG100 from the 2-sided tape, which was very tough to peel off; I let it dangle on a string down half a foot from the GDO assembly. Now, the ping response is awesome! HA commands now are executed on time by the MSG100.…
