Only nine spots are available in a batting lineup and Wolfpack coach Lisa Kienzle has been forced to make some tough choices. “Sometimes it is hard to put a lineup together,” Kienzle said. “This whole program can swing.” The Wolfpack have mashed and bashed their way to within inches of an Intermountain Conference title and the state’s best record heading into the final week of the regular season. They appear to be the favorite for the No. 1 seed in the Class 5A state playoffs that are quickly approaching. Through its first 23 games, Caldera has batted .368 and scored 246 runs.
