I applied to hundreds of Upwork jobs and got 0 clients — then changed one thing I’ve been testing Upwork for around half a year. I have solid 3D modeling experience and I’m also an electrical engineer, so at first I applied to the obvious jobs: 3D modeling, CAD, technical work, electrical engineering tasks. There were tons of job posts. But there were also tons of freelancers. After hundreds of proposals, I got accepted to exactly: **0 jobs.** I was close to giving up, but then I changed the strategy. Instead of applying to global jobs, I started looking for jobs where being from **Lithuania** was the advantage. Local market research. Local website checks. Local platform testing. Simple country-specific tasks. That’s when I finally started getting accepted. So far I’ve made around **$400 in 6 months**, and this month I landed two more jobs: One local betting site research project for **$40/month** for 6 months. One local crypto market research project at **$12/hour**, capped at 5 hours/week.…
