Amazon ’s Prime Video is looking out for the cast and crew of The Summer I Turned Pretty as they go on location to film their movie. The streamer issued a statement on social media asking for privacy and to “protect the magic.” “We love the excitement, but sharing locations and visiting set disrupts filming and creates real safety concerns for our cast and crew,” read the statement on Instagram. The statement continued, “We’re working hard to create a protected bubble to make the best movie possible. Please help us protect the magic of Cousins until it’s ready to be shared.” Starring Lola Tung, Christopher Barney, and Gavin Casalegno,  The Summer I Turned Pretty  recently began filming in Wilmington, North Carolina, and will wrap up the series.
