Tom Morello has unveiled a new single titled “Adjourn It” featuring his son Roman Morello and System of a Down’s Serj Tankian . The single is a taste from his upcoming solo album via Mom + Pop Records, and is inspired by recent protests against ICE in both Minneapolis and New York City. Get Tom Morello Tickets Here “Adjourn It” mixes a classic Rage Against the Machine style rap metal chorus featuring Tankian, verses that are slinky and dark like classic Bob Dylan, and even a classic thrash metal bridge before closing with a monumental guitar solo from Roman. It also sports a music video that features footage from the independent film Salt of the Earth from 1954 about Mexican-American zinc miner strikes, in keeping with the direct and highly political tone.
