Okinawa Gov. Denny Tamaki announces his bid to run for the September gubernatorial election during a news conference in Naha on Saturday. | JIJI NAHA, OKINAWA PREF. – Support for Okinawa Gov. Denny Tamaki is wavering ahead of the prefecture’s Sept. 13 gubernatorial election due to changes in the political landscape as a result of the February general election.
