[IDK if this is the case for Java - I play on Bedrock]. I’ve played for hundreds of hours, and like 90% of it has been without keep inventory. This sounds dumb, but I get a lot of anxiety about wasting time, which I feel like is done whenever I lose all my stuff, which makes me very stressed. I outright avoided going mining most of the time because of it. I had a world with hundreds of hours where I used mostly stone [I know this is kind of ridiculous] even though I had to mine constantly as my house was underground [it was away from lava and caves]. I find using keep inventory much less stressful, and thus more enjoyable. But it requires turning on cheats [which disables achievements], which reduces my motivation to play by a lot, as I despise feeling like I’m cheating, so I’ve never seriously gotten into one. While this is technically just a skill issue, I think it would be better if we had the option to use keep inventory without needing to disable cheats. submitted by /u/GeekInGaming [link] [comments]
