Mikayla Hatfield, a junior on the Mountain View girls flag football team, and Bjorn Blankenship, a junior on the Summit track and field team, were voted by Bulletin readers as the boys and girls Athletes of the Week. Mikayla Hatfield, Mountain View flag football Hatfield was nominated by Mountain View flag football coach Joe Kennedy after the junior had four interceptions on defense and scored a touchdown to help the Cougars remain undefeated in a 13-0 win over Madras on April 25. Bjorn Blankenship, Summit track and field Blankenship was nominated by the Bulletin sports staff after the junior finished the prestigious Elite Mile in eighth place in 4 minutes, 9.65 seconds at the Jesuit Twilight Relays on April 24.
