As someone whose body has, on more than one occasion, done something that made a doctor look deeply and horrifyingly confused, I can confidently say it can be an isolating and jarring experience. That's chronic illness for ya! Every once in a while, I ask BuzzFeed readers like you to share your "medical mysteries" — aka, the "unusual" thing(s) your body does that, surprise!, you didn't know wasn't "normal" until someone else broke the news to you.
