I’ve just joined a new company seven months ago. The things I see that can be improved through proper training are numerous. However, for now, I’m stuck correcting things over and over again because my internal customers were not trained enough or well for their positions. Most days, I find myself without energy anymore to do anything else because there’s just too much work to do. I realized recently that what relaxes my brain is when I draw up suggestions on how to improve things at work. The realization struck me because I thought keeping up with the current backlog would give me some peace but my brain is most relaxed when it is at least trying to take steps towards improving the current situation. I don’t propose that those in the same boat as I am to work harder. I’m just marveling at the thought that for me, what works is when I allow my brain to take a step back and be more forward-thinking rather than fight fires all day everyday. submitted by /u/Searchee2025 [link] [comments]
