Photographers, what would make a small rental studio worth renting? Hello photographers! I’m looking for some input. I have a small 300 sq ft space in a strip mall that I’m considering turning into an entry level studio available to rent by the hour. My idea is to price it around $50 per hour and create a few simple, ready to use setups such as a small family photo area, an infant setup, and a product photography station. I may also include one or two additional setups depending on what would be most useful. The space would be best suited for 1 to 5 people and likely not ideal for large family shoots. My goal is to make it great entry level studio for things like mini sessions, headshots, newborn sessions, and product photography. I am also thinking about including basic equipment such as lighting, backdrops, and stands, but I would love input on what equipment would be most important to have available.
