Several varieties of frozen pizzas sold at Aldi and Walmart have been recalled due to a potential salmonella contamination . On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a public health alert for meat and poultry products that contain FDA-regulated ingredients formulated with dry milk powder. The dairy-based product, which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has now recalled, could have been contaminated with salmonella , a bacterium that causes food poisoning. The recall included three of Great Value’s frozen pizzas, sold at Walmart stores nationwide (U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service) Six products with the affected dry milk powder have been recalled, including Mama Cozzi’s Biscuit Crust Sausage & Cheese Breakfast Pizza and another called Biscuit Crust Cooked Pork Belly Crumbles, Cooked Bacon Topping, Pepper & Onion Breakfast Pizza.
