This happened to also be one of the worst time management decisions you can make. Fortunately we have a flexible schedule. Houses need a lot of ongoing care and maintenance, with the occasional medium sized project to keep things spicy. We have replaced a few windows, fixed a fence, extended the irrigation system, rebuilt a poorly constructed deck, fixed a small water leak, and now added a garage subpanel so we can run the house off the EV’s battery . “But why not just pay somebody to do all of that for you?” asks younger me.
